Designsmith: Secure, Biometric Time-Tracking and Attendance System
Designed the dedicated employee attendance and time-tracking app, integrating biometric verification and precise timing mechanisms. The goal was to eliminate buddy-punching and provide accurate, systemized operational data.
Challenge:
The client needed a flawless system to accurately track employee work hours and eliminate "buddy-punching" and time fraud. The UI/UX had to be simple and quick for daily use but robust enough to handle complex logic, such as facial recognition failures and error states.
System solution:
I created a Master UI/UX Design System to standardize the platform's vast component needs (login, forms, status alerts, payment modules). This system ensured pixel-perfect consistency across over 50 unique screens, simplifying complex user journeys like multi-step registration and service booking. The systematic approach drastically reduced design debt and accelerated handoff to the engineering team.
