Challenge:
The client needed a flawless system to accurately track employee work hours and eliminate "buddy-punching" and time fraud. The UI/UX had to be simple and quick for daily use but robust enough to handle complex logic, such as facial recognition failures and error states.
System solution:
I built a High-Security Component Module extending the existing Designsmith system. This focused on optimizing the face-capture workflow (managing success, failure, and retries), precise timer displays, and clear confirmation states. The architecture ensures consistent compliance and a user experience that is fast and reliable for daily clock-ins/outs.
